Terms of use

The rules for using this platform. The selection itself is governed by the request for proposal (RFP) and its addenda.

The platform

This platform runs the partner tenders of Misr Abu Dhabi for Real Estate Investments (MAD). Belmazad, MAD's tender consultant, built it and runs the tender office ("Powered by belmazad.com").

The selection — who may take part, what a proposal must contain, the deadlines and how proposals are evaluated — is set by the RFP and its addenda, not by these terms.

Your account

  • Register with a work email you use, and keep your password to yourself.
  • Every sign-in, submission and signature is recorded with the account that made it.
  • Staff accounts are created by invitation only.

What you submit

  • The information and documents you submit must be true, complete and current, and the person registering must be authorised to do so for the company.
  • Belmazad and MAD may verify what you submit with third parties and public sources.
  • Upload only the documents asked for. Every file is checked for what it really is, not only its name.

Confidentiality

The platform and all information exchanged through it are confidential. The RFP and the data room open only after your company is approved and its authorised representative signs the NDA, which governs how that information may be used. Data-room downloads are recorded.

Deadlines and submissions

  • Every deadline is in Cairo time, and the platform applies it: after the closing time a proposal can no longer be submitted or changed.
  • Before the deadline you may reopen and resubmit your proposal. Each submission produces a receipt listing every file's SHA-256 fingerprint.
  • A proposal cannot be submitted while anything required is missing, or while an addendum is not yet acknowledged.
  • If you cannot use the platform close to a deadline, call tender enquiries at once.

Questions about the tender

Questions about the tender go through the Questions page of the platform, not to MAD or its advisers directly. Answers that concern everyone are published to all bidders without naming who asked.

Automated checks are advisory

The platform reads documents and searches public sources to help the tender team (see the privacy notice). Its findings are advice only: Belmazad's team reviews them and recommends, and MAD decides.

Fair use

  • Do not try to reach another company's information, or any part of the platform your account is not given.
  • Do not upload files that carry harmful code, and do not use automated tools to sign in or submit.
  • Accounts that break these rules may be suspended.

The selection process

MAD may amend or cancel the selection process, and bidders bear their own costs of taking part, as the RFP sets out (§9).
